Under the cut are the only bookbinding instructions in the book Bazaar Bizarre, plus my notes.

*Since this is never mentioned again, I'd like to point out that you should cut at least an inch off the strip sides before you cut them into strips.

I don't have an "olfa knife" right now (and I really can't be buying new art supplies), so I borrowed a utility knife, which worked quite well.

Be sure to work WITH the grain of the cardboard (the spine should be in the direction the cardboard bends easiest) or this book will be a super headache. Believe me, I know.

i've made little travel journals similar to this, but i used ultra-suede or leather for the covers - much easier to wrap & weave! and if you cut the back cover longer it can wrap around to the front & protect the text block if you're carrying it around in your pocket or bag.

(and olfa is just name-brand-dropping) :P
